My backyard training ground: the Alberni Inlet Trail

Well this training run, on the Alberni Inlet Trail, was filmed two months ago – on January 11. Sometimes life gets in the way… my next post will talk about what happens when things don’t exactly go to plan, and why it took me two months to get this video together!

One of the goals of my Keep it Moving project is to showcase the Juan de Fuca Trail – where my expedition run will take place. However, as an aside, I will also be showing off other little-known trails here on central Vancouver Island. So many people pass straight through Port Alberni on their way to Tofino, without realizing what great trails we have here, too! This little film shows the very first section of the Alberni Inlet Trail – one of my regular routes.
